2 new Fluffly Audio sound libraries for Kontakt

Fluffy Audio has released around the New Year, two sound libraries for Kontakt, one hybrid didgeridoo and a free flute.

With DidgHybridoo, Fluffy Audio shows a new approach that tries to resolve an issue that is inherent to the didgeridoo complex sound: how to realistically reproduce the instrument in the digital world? The team designed a hybrid system that blends morphing between vowel samples played by Christian Muela and custom format filtering engine.

The collection includes 12 customizable rhythmic patterns and a VowelWheel allows for altering the vowels that are sung by the virtual player. You can also change the formant frequencies, overtones and their gain, and add a resonator to selected frequencies.

The 326 MB library features 519 samples in 24-bit / 44.1 kHz, 13 .NKI patches, 18 convolution impulse responses and 8 resonator presets.

DidgHybridoo is available for 29 €.

Fluffy Audio also started the new year with Simple Flute, a free flute powered by a custom version of WIPS scripts, that you can play at different tempos, with an adjustable vibrato, legato, three velocity layers, two articulations (long and short), three round robins for the short articulations, micro tuning and impulse reverb presets. The other good news is that the library supports breath and wind controllers.

The 55 MB library features 130 samples in 24-bit / 44.1 kHz and is available for free download from fluffyaudio.com

Both libraries require the full version of Kontakt 4 or 5.
