This is an overdrive with three white knobs mounted on a black bin and a green LED appears when the effect is Inrush.
Overdrive lightweight compared to the LTD basic right mind would have little or no medium.

UTILIZATION

Analog technology, do not tell me about digital. So three knobs: gain, a tone and volume.
Use with a tube amp, preferably. Otherwise, buy a tube pedal. This is actually a slight overdrive. No High Gain or saturation, it is called overdrive here. It depends on what you play. For Blues, Jazz fusion, indie rock, pop, see the Hard Rock (AC / DC), it does very well. I use a clean sound for a very light overdrive, and boost the overdrive of my amp (gain overlay, ahem, love ..)

SOUND QUALITY

Sound: this is what interests us. It's simple, it is for now the overdrive that I find most convincing. I had a maxon OD808, she eats the bass and treble, a Maxon D & S, too much gain for my taste. I also have a Xotic BB preamp and for now, I prefer the Barber. In clear channel input or additional gain stage on the overdrive channel, this pedal plugged took me exactly what I wanted, namely a distortion that opens my sound instead of compress. here, no low cut or acute, no compression, and transparency breathtaking, the overdrive does not sound like a pedal! It combines perfectly with my Crate V3112T, which for now is not the case of the BB preamp (I expect to change the lights to see). It preserves the sound of my material and give a little more gain and presence and most importantly, keeps or increases the creamy sound of the amp, I love it!

Beware, this is a overdrive and try to have some, this one is, I think, excellent. I once was ditirrambique on the pedals, but after trying different models, is the first time and I am pleased to find an objective overdrive which is exactly what I wanted.

OVERALL OPINION

Another comment, the choice depends on a lot of overdrive the amp you use. The BB preamp in the Fender for my teacher is a wonder (6L6) in cons, it is not as effective in my V3112 (EL84 lamps), it is a little disappointing. The original lamps changemeent average quality change can be something. We'll see.

Meanwhile, the price included $ 140 PDF (enciron is 110 euros), and given the build quality (it's "boutique", not the Boss to the chain) and the quality of sound, this pedal is more than a bargain. The reputation of these pedals is not usurped. I put 10, in an objective
