Value For Money : Poor
then this expensive X-drive OD-8 comes in the form of a box (which looks like stainless steel) 13 cm long and 9.5 wide with 4 cm. This pedal uses analog technology and connects like any pedal between the amplifier and the instrument (here is my guitar) and is not a rack mount model.

UTILIZATION

the control panel is simple, 1 volume, 1 tone, 1 drive and a 3 position switch, TS, bright and warm. an LED that lights up and turns green when the effect is activated, and of course, an instrument input and an output amplifier. question manual, y 'had not! ah! ah! ah!

SOUND QUALITY

I can say this is the pedal that I've been waiting for decades! finally a hot drive, and with which this can really play arpeggios where notes still ring in crunch! I think you can really enjoy playing many styles of music ranging from blues to rock and that will of course to hard rock! I use this pedal with my guitar and I must admit, it still sounds good with this mic schekter! I plug everything in my amp drive 30 watts dedicated to low and, frankly, it seems to play an amp on all lamps! plan earplugs so you do not tear your eardrum in 2! ah! ah! ah! it's still unbelievable that this pedal delivers such a sound! I love all the sounds on this pedal! there's nothing wrong with it!!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it now since early this afternoon. I love the most, the stainless steel look, the stylish black knobs vintage vox, the 3-position switch, the smallness of the pedal, the sound huge can erupt, the seriousness of manufacture, the price (unbeatable! !), the green (she is pretty!), the knobs progressive, the simple system of closing the hatch power (a simple screw knob). I like the least, the battery comes out easily from the small place that is dedicated to him. I can say I tried distos pedals and overdrive; snarling dogs blue doo (not bad, but she did a little digging!), boss metal zone (how horrible! digital sound too!) MXR dimebag darrel (typed and not too pretty versatile) MXR Zakk Wylde (not bad for the drive, but the price is too high given the performance!) XXL Tech (really not bad, but limited compared to my biyang!) .... and tons of others who have seemed so unnecessary, too expensive, too bland, I'll stop there for the carnage!
the price / quality ratio is outstanding! , 59 € in music destock and 49 € on ebay, frankly, have a brand like BOSS or tutti quanti match a price like that, they may not! And people have the impression we make fun of their faces! Besides, me, when I saw the price for the first time, I wondered if it was serious, I went on youtube and saw an Asian who was testing, I thought I was going to fall off my chair when I heard the sound! and then he played the guy as well! but hey, this is not the point, if I would do this choice rather than 2 times! and besides, I wonder how their other sound effects ... will, ultimately, you are looking for a true overdrive / distortion to play blues to hard rock with its strong presence and a competitive rate permanently burying; look no further! biyang the X-Drive OD-8 is for you!

on 10/04/2010, after having tried it on an amp Ampeg B-100R compared to a R-belcat FUZ510 fuzz, I finally found it's typically a "marshall" and that one can not not get out, and indeed the belcat has all my favors at the moment and I find it much more versatile than the biyang!
So, after finding I'd say it's a great pedal as long as you love the Marshall sound, if it is not, go your way!
