Overdrive Maxon redition by its circuit originally manufactured under the Ibanez TS-9 logo.

Circuit built-JRC 4558D.

Difference from the original report, it is true-bypass.

USE

Three knobs and a switch has contrler should go for the most experienced pedal (almost) in the world.

SOUND QUALITY

Everything said about this legendary t overdrive in my case it's hand through Santana much more experienced era in the 80's I discovered this pedal. It was only later that I discovered that Stevie Ray Vaughan was also used.
This gives a good idea of the sound palette of the OD-9 (or TS-9) since it is the same thing.
Another story, few people around me used it in the 80's because the Ibanez pedals were rarer and more chres the Boss pedals.
Internet has much contributed to its renaming, and GAS crisis also ...

NOTICE GLOBAL

For me a simply magical overdrive with single coil pickups, it's overdrive the light of which all other pedals are judges.

For fun and dsamorer few ideas reues sulfates one day OD-9 comparative (or TS-9) with an Ibanez TS-7.

Among the many clones of this pedal there is one that I find amazing is the Vox V810, its signature sound is slightly diffrente, softer and more progressive, a little less medium. I also like the Fulltone Full Drive (non-mosfet), which offers many more options, but the basic circuit is also the same.
