The OD9 parat it is the most overdrive Fidler original manufactured by Maxon for the name Ibanez TS9 in the 70's. It yammer the famous component JRC45 I-never-know-what-it-on-cares-the importance-it-as-a-ringing. It is produced in Japan. There are three potentiomtres: one for the output level, for a gain level, one for severe acute rglage. CHAC 9 volt battery is through a hatch very practical, unlike the OD808. The PDAL is quite large and heavy compared to the 808. The quality of manufacture and the care of the prsentation (both for the pedals that the packaging) are waiting for you. Ud is a high-end shows. Note that the battery is provided. It is of course fuel the pedals by the sector.

UTILIZATION

Potentiomtres three and a switch: four reasons to read the manual. Seriously, the manual is clear (although in English) but we can manage without aisment.

SOUND QUALITY

It's an overdrive pedals, so it offers a low distortion trs. It can be used in two Manir:
-Either as boost. we put the zero gain and the volume loud enough. It colors the sound and gives a bit of overdrive on the agreements, it is superb.
Either-like overdrive, with more or less gain.
It can be used in clean or in addition to the distortion of the amp. It then added harmonics and sustain the sound.
What about the sound? Everyone knows, that's great on any amp, all on a fabulous lamp. Compared to my 808, the OD9 seems to have a bit more gain and be slightly more transparent boost. But does not play big thing. I use a Start Plus, an LP, a Lag Roxanne, on a Variax Koch amps lamps and Garen.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month. I bought it to use it to boost complment an OD808. I was tired of constantly changing SETTING THE dernire this. Before I had a Boss BD2 and therefore a Maxon OD808. J'apprcie especially the sound is fabulous, especially when the rest of the hardware is of high quality. I find however that a small price reduction would not be unwelcome, even if the ratio quality price is honorable.
