A beautiful light green with 2 pedal effects: an overdrive and clean boost. All analog.

UTILIZATION

TONE, GAIN, MIX, BOOST and LEVEL, VOICE button, 2 switches (On / Off and Boost On / Off)

TONE: EQ overdrive
GAIN: Controls the amount of overdrive.
MIX: Balance between its saturated and "dry"
BOOST: +1 to +20 db
LEVEL: overall volume
VOICE: a button for 2 different colors

In short a lot of tuning a pedal for richer it seems.

SOUND QUALITY

I had the opportunity to try this pedal in a store, a couple Orange (head rocker 30 + 2x12 cabinet). That's huge.
The boost is a real boost, ie it increases the level of 1-20 dB. Ideally, the trigger on the solos, when the overdrive is already engaged. Either we stay on the clean channel of the amp, and we use the overdrive pedal, which is added the boost for solos, or adding the boost to overdrive the amp. In 2 cases, it is super efficient: the added boost gain entry is clear.
The overdrive this pedal is fantastic: it is in the register tube screamer, but much chattering, broader, less "tight". Whether on the clean channel of the amp or in addition to the overdrive of the amp, it sounds very well. In comparison with a Fulltone or Jeckill & Hyde, which have the same options, fuller, more detailed in the frequencies, the sound does not seem to tighten when it triggers.

OVERALL OPINION

I currently play on a Marshall Plexi and an Ibanez tube screamer. I like the sound but the tube screamer tends to "shrink" the sound of Marshall. So I am considering purchasing this T-Rex Möller. Only the price a bit high and the satisfaction that brings me still my current config make me hesitate again.
