Perfectly detailed below. I would add that the setting contour is actually an adjustment of the central frequencies of the tone, says the manual.
Buffered Bypass, transparent to my ears.
Color classy and very good finish.

UTILIZATION

The pots are well constrained. The size and shape of two large (volume and drive) are very useful to make adjustments on the fly. The tone, smaller, lets handle ditto. The two smaller (bass and stroke) are more difficult, especially for low that is very sensitive, the slightest variation means. The pedal is large enough, it was the place to put your fingers.
The use of contour is more anecdotal because much less effective. However, it helps to have some variation in the response of mids and highs by interacting with the tone.
The drive to zero, it already twisted a little bit with all humbuckers. At bottom, it is the overdrive, but still hairy. Reserve volume is important.

SOUND QUALITY

It features the same TS with its creamy, slightly compressed, nice grain and mediums before. The sound is not smooth and has character. The guitar sound is guaranteed.
The two additional settings allow you to make a sound card and adapt to any amp. Very nice on a clear channel. The treble response is however not extensive. Without dark, there is not vrillera eardrums with.

The pedal is also very effective for shoving a saturated channel (my main use) and then the bass tone settings and take all their usefulness for either a surplus or graouh velouter contrary to sound (like Marillion, for example). Very, very effective.
Be careful though, extreme settings and bass will drive from saturation crappy fuzz and without definition.

OVERALL OPINION

Permanently on my pedalboard for a few months, I have used this pedal live and tested on several amps with the same satisfaction every time. I compare it to the Xotic BB Preamp from home (I own version MB), the Green Rhino with more grain but less acute définis.Les beaches uses are very similar rate (drive, low settings, quality general ...).

I tested a Od package (which it in direct comparison with some market standards, thank you my favorite mag), and I still have 7 or 8 permanently in stock at home. It is currently in the top 3 of my harem along with the Xotic BB Preamp MB and Ibanez POD1.

Validated.
