SOUND QUALITY

Xotic pedals are all excellent sound quality and workmanship. the AC booster ISSUED a warm, creamy overdrive, a little fat, which would not please some, but it depends on the association guitars and amps, and can recall a vintage bassman sound, and quite a match Garage sound a bit " dirty ". me it reminds me of the old blues sounds good to dirty Howlin'Wolf

its uses are numerous, crunch, as clean boost, because with little gain and volume bcp it works by correcting the EQ as a booster for a satellite channel or another pedal, or as large OD, boosted by another pedal and then it can give her very tight with lots of gain, etc ... but in this case of association, it will test the configuration before to make sure it meets your expectations
I'm gonna find a good config with a TS9 to 82, plus a BB preamp and finally the AC booster

note that the sound of Xotic, and the AC booster, is really excellent, in terms of quality.
Also, it provides little gain, but this is offset by the richness of harmonics it provides, and it furiously with a TS9 s'envoel example

OVERALL OPINION

Try to at least know what ets this quality pedal
there is not much that approach or boss, mxr or other aps is the same price either
however, my opinion is that it will be adapted to specific sounds and would not be appropriate for everyone, again, it takes temsp to "break" its secrets
