Pregnant purchase some time ago. I use them in hi fi.
I test lots of DIFFERENT associations and for now they are connected a small amp 10 watts numrique Chinese (bought a MISR) and my computer as the source.
And I can assure you that it works terrible! amp numrique Retailer that any (super transparency) and boosts the hps jbl provides really very beautiful costs (provided they do not try wake up the neighbors when the power is m limit myself).
I think we can combine these many difficulties without JBL amp, with power however to properly move hps (they are made to AC).
My only restriction would apply to amps, sources or cables too aggressive or poorly across the industry Defines medium rather acute. The JBL as extremely Dfine in this sector, it can quickly become garish.
SOUNDS
As for the sound itself, there are effectively monitoring ct. Good neutrality.
We hear everything, but not aggressive Manir. It has a good sharpness of the treble, the very medium rather nice (jbl forces), only the bass is a little Lger sometimes (though not shocking). But the era honntement or they have produced t, I know of no speaker type bookcase that was better in the bass.
And again, the entire spectrum is always very cohrent.
OVERALL OPINION
I test lots of speakers so far and these little monitors are actually good vintage JBL.
They are not very expensive to find more.
For use of hi-fi quality, monitoring, etc., if one likes to hear a certain transparency, a lively sound and music, these are a very small 4401 good choice.
