Published on 11/10/12 at 10:54This is the original ROM cartridge comes with the DX7 IIFD / D. It is not compatible with the first generation of DX.
It contains 4 Banks memory:
- 2 Banks of 64 and 32 Voices Performance
- Fractional 64 1 Bank Scalings
- 1 Bank of 63 Micro Tunings
It can therefore be "at hand" 192 Voices and 96 performances (counting memory DX7).
Bank 1 is a copy of the factory sounds stored in the ROM of the DX7. Bank 2 contains the result of Voices and Performances programmed by Yamaha 87. Bank 3 can use the sounds programmed with Fractional Scaling (weighted nonlinear output level
).
This cartridge is highly recommended when using a DX7II!
