VERY BAD CHOICE FOR computer music !!!!!
Ricoh 841 chipset R5C managing the IEEE 1394 is very poorly supported by most of the cards and even PCMCIA firewire.
after purchasing a sound card M-AUDIO firewire solo, I'm still looking for possible causes of incompatibility with the PC. No help from ASUS, which rejected its responsibility despite the recognition of the problem.
