You can't go wrong with the FBT Jolly 8Ba. Keyboards amps can't even come close. It's a matter of preference, but it came down to one of these and the JBLPRX612M. In the end, I liked the tighter bass of the Jolly 8Ba and the sound of my Yamaha pianos thru it. This speaker has one of the best warranties in the business.

The combination of using two Jolly 8Ba gives true stereo separation to the keyboards, and when using the Leslie effect on the Nord, the whole room appears to be swirling. I recently changed to the QSC’s after learning about the weight (much less than anything else I have used). I have found that even when set to the maximum volume level, the QSC’s do not distort the sounds from my keyboards. The pianos never sounded as good from the Nord, and special effect sound, such as harmonica sound from the Roland G, is like having an actual person playing the harp when we perform ‘Texas Flood’.

While I still have a vintage Leslie that I use for special gigs, I only bring the 2 QSC’s now, and find that not only can I hold my own regarding volume with the vintage Marshall amp/cab that our guitar player uses, and the Ampeg cabinet/amp that our bass player uses, but when I take leads, the leads come across much cleaner and more distinct than ever. You should hear the “sweep” sound I use for Pink Floyd’s ‘Comfortably Numb’!

The only thing more a keyboard player could want is for the speakers to rotate as in a Leslie, but at 41 pounds apiece with conveniently placed carrying handles, there is no better! You wont have to pay all your hard earned cash for them either. The price is very reasonable take a look around online and at different websites.
