I use it for a week. I've tried several products of this brand (MON, Pocket 750), but the STL-250 is currently the one that impressed me most.
It is a bi-amplified speaker comprising a 10-inch and 1 inch compression. The HP brand SICA (made in Italy). The receiver uses a digital map Bang & Olufsen to produce 200W for LF and 50W for the highs.
It integrates a processor that adjusts the response as high and low frequencies, and that is (which is very rare) detachable, which allows for a linear sound for use as a floor for example, or a more-HI FI for the dissemination (the processor boosts the bass and treble).
The credit union has 2 canted which allows the use of foot bath with 2 different angles as possible. It can also be placed on a speaker stand with integrated support.
The sound is excellent: very powerful, well-defined on all frequencies and especially in the midrange, and very punchy.
The production is impressive: the body is 28mm birch plywood, maps amplification and signal processing are in a box separated from the rest of the body (not disturbed by the movements of HP). The electronics manufacturing resembles a hi-fi components with high-end (toroidal transformer, audio capacitors, wiring nickel ...)
Sure it costs a bit more expensive than competing (Mackie, RCF ...) but the quality is there. I use it for the moment to return keyboard amplification stage.
