Istanbul presents the Idris Muhammad Signature 22" Ride, a new model inspired by the famous jazz drummer.
Sonically inspired by Muhammad’s works in the Ahmad Jamal Trio, this heavy-medium cymbal features an unlathed, brushed underside and special hammering techniques which further accentuate the cymbal’s dry and dark qualities.
Combined with the Cymbal’s larger, proportionally thicker bell, these qualities seem to give this new signature ride all of the dynamic range and musicality that characterize “the Idris Muhammad sound”.
