Sabian extends the Omni concept introduced on the AAX Series to the HHX range, with two new 19” and 22” cymbals.
The new HHX Omni series, just like the AAX Omni, was designed by Jojo Mayer and features two cymbals which sound is described as polyvalent, though darker than the AAX, and that can be used for any music style, from jazz to punchy rock.
The HHX Omni cymbals are made of B20 alloy, and feature two surfaces, the Medium-Center part is darker, heavier and with a different hammering than the Extra-Thin edge, and according to Sabian, it offers more body and dimension.
US pricing announced by Sabian are $582 for the HHX Omni 19” and $731 for the HHX Omni 22”.
