classic twelve o'clock audio connectors
good converters
30sec memory (4MB) expandeable.
there is a utility other edition akai samplers (serie s) used by this machine
1 sequencer track (see Yamaha SU10), has the man: this is not a real sequencer deserts rather it notes for ideas.
USE
Easy configuration, manual hard but fear goes. if you have no experience in midi is somewhat complicated.
there is no in effect (if the scratch is not an effect)
SONORITS
sufficement transparent converter (quandmeme but there was the sound akai '90 it, so bass great).
NOTICE GLOBAL
I have this machine since 1996, it was my second sampler.
Sometimes I still use it to filter samplers or other sounds.
no real sequencer, it is better midify the beast.
TAP allows to have an effect ROLL (similar).
the start / end point is live particulierment interesting for the chop live or glitch.
considering that it was the 1996, for the price, it was not bad.
The Akai S-20 is the grossomodo choises and it is even smaller.
the remix16 was designed more for djs (pitch, tap, crossfader, scratch etc.) than another.
quandmeme good sound.
