The MFX2 is the ultimate version of the series III. It incorporates all its features: 16 voice polyphony of 32 mo, Page R, FFT, and although the CAPS sr full function of traditional ditions sound +
To this is added the direct to disk of 24 tracks with instantaneous display of waveforms (thank you to the Turbo SCSI).
It possde also dedicates a map Time to stretch down on DSP 96002.
Every sound made by the sampler or dtd dispatch is on a router 24 channels with XLR
3 inputs and 4 MIDI outputs, AES / EBU, SMPTE and RS422 for control of video machines.

UTILIZATION

Each machine function is controlled by a processor or DSP implementations on many cards spares, so most of the functions s' run instantly. But this power is paid for by fairly standard dimensions: 50kg for the mainframe and 700w of consumption.
MFX2 console is a MODEL of ergonomics and fast here no mouse or menu Droulez, pressing a button is the function excute the millisecond! faster, ca does not exist!

SOUNDS

The sound is incredible, especially when compared against an akai, emu, or an especially protools. It is lphantesque! Each sound comes from the converter staff, an agreement will therefore be 4 notes produced by four converters Different. We're in another world, far from the multiplex Systmes that in every sense and force multiply the voices and plug-ins to make up their mdiocrit (protools Hello friends!)

OVERALL OPINION

The first snag is the bcanne weight that the prevents to be easily transported. It is better to also put in a spare pice in the studio so as not to suffer the noise ventilos!
The 2nd, that is the polyphony of 16 channels, a bit limited but sufficient for an orchestration for most modern music as the sound has a broad spectrum trs. A dozen tracks are a lot of racket dj;) and there is the possibility of tracker in the direct to disk.

Try it that is succumbing.
