8WAY
UTILIZATION
Basic Editing simple, and can become complex at preset
SOUNDS
The filters are tasty and Curtis both wild
OVERALL OPINION
Integrating sound the same generation as the famous Studio 440 brand, it is indeed a prophet: fast envelopes and filters .... beautiful. Resonant Low Pass (by way * 8)
Machine racy and sometimes mysterious: you can stack parameters on the sound and the way simultaneously: the meme without totally taming this beast is already productive.
It marked the beginnings of Aphex Twin and many others.
One of his good points is that it has loaded waveforms in ROM.
On mine, the allocation of channels is randomly distributed on the output Left and Right: the distribution of bread in stereo, my brothers. It panote as we feel the mixing desk.
Many machines of those early times were here, I remember the AKAI S900 example
The arpeggiator (game function as random as possible) is very useful.
Samplait already 44KHz, in 1988. I appreciate it more like a synth waveforms in short Rhythm Sampler (mine has 512K of memory should be said, but hey: Studio 440 is a sampler of famous pace, so everyone ... there's something.
