How many sounds and styles are available? Are they edited? Through a utility for Mac / PC?
- Lots and lots of sounds not great, but editable in-house or software, then it is doing.
He has an effects section?
- Full of effects, freely assignable in the chaining audio, but only on the master output, good distos on synth and kick!
What are the characters of the sequencer? ...
- Major sequencer, arpeggiator, big memory of events noon access to CC, pianoroll, editor MIDI events ...................
- This part of the mc909 is why I bought it
UTILIZATION
a gas plant!
to everything, easy to use
a large blue screen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so cool!
NOTE 1: The machine is in GM (General Midi), which is problematic in composition to other drum machines external midi channel 10 because the assignment of the notes does not pad possibilities to transpose or offset Notes
NOTE 2: The pads are fragile and wear out quickly, they must be replaced (not expensive, but very annoying)
SOUNDS
The sounds they are suitable to your style of music?
- I do electro music for 15 years and I've never used the internal sounds: synth-rated "and BAR analog sound is a big shit, but that's very subjective
Are they realistic?
- I think not
The effects are they effective and responsive?
- Yes
The expression is good? (Reaction to velocity, aftertouch to)?
- Yes
What are the sounds you prefer, you hate? ...
- Except the sound of acoustic drums added with the extension Roland SRX, I do not like the sound texture of this machine

What is so special that you love the most, least?
- For me it is one of superlecteur midifile
- The basic sounds are not terrible but the effects, comp eq filter, etc.. your sound of pleasant surprises
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
- Yes
How would you rate the quality / price?
- To € 400 that's fine, 800 too expensive
With experience, you do again this choice? ...
- Well probably not, because there are midi controllers vintage analog synths for much better!
