Published on 02/03/11 at 12:50100% analogue sequencer with 16 steps coarsely and finely adjustable. Each step is individually mutable and has an LED display.
3 play modes: simple, alternate and random. Selectable number of steps for the first 2 modes between 4 and 16 steps. Slew setting (like the TB303) for a glissando between steps. Manually adjustable speed but external sync possible. No MIDI, no memory of course ... Using hyper
UTILIZATION
intuitive everything was included in less than an hour ...
SOUNDS
No sound is pure sequencer.
OVERALL OPINION
This is a DIY project by Ray Wilson. I built 2 and I plan to do a third! The total cost is less than 200 € (buy the pcb on the site ...) and it is a real killer. It's not a moog 960 but it is still very comprehensive and allows good delusions. Be careful though as its manufacture is not accessible to the beginner including the wiring is demonic! Another successful MFOS. Superb
