The Gibson SG Standard 24 50th Anniversary celebrates the 50th anniversary of a guitar with a timeless design.
Its strength lies in a body of Mahogany as the SG Custom Shop, providing conductivity factor, scale and dynamic optimal acoustics.
Its handle is as it should be glued, consisting of Mahogany Quarter-Sawn (special procedure cutting boards in a specific direction of the shaft, promoting strength and stability) and Rosewood. SG Rounded profile is no problem apprehension.

UTILIZATION
everything is imppec on this guitar I scared myself by buying it because I already had a standard 2007 so 22 frets micro 498 and 490 etc etc ... which was rotten, but there RAS!!
Channel rounded profile, the grip is immediate between LP and Flying (in my opinion)
body that fits snugly in the stomach, it does not sting the nose, Access to acute is, SG requires surprisingly easy despite the 24 frets.
24 frets is a blessing, I practice a little lead in my group and this is what he had not crossed my LTD Viper 1000 that sounds too straight and metal for my taste and with less personality.
Sound and what is all the knobs are only usable without problems, they respond to all the expectations of musicians.
SOUNDS
I play a typed style heavy rock / stoner Burnu pulling a lot to with sound metal / rock with shades of blues finally open all knobs are on a two mics that I initially set higher on the bridge pickups to recover mid and lower hair on the sleeves to balance everything.
Bridge pickups, but powerful enough dry harmonious present in the medium treble and bass are very balanced (the knobs tones make it softness and roundness lowered)
Pickups sleeves, bold, full of low fluid can be any type of solo, gary moore kind and consort is magical.
It is not really sound level away from the les paul but with the mouth, the practicality of access to acute and weight that although she does not quite defend weighs 10 kg traditionnal way.
Guitar driven blues, rock, and more without reaching the metal (whatever), connected to an orange AD 30 and baffles Framus V30 more, overdrive boost phaser wah etc ... on my board it sounds wonderfully.
Do funk is feasible because I think clean and clear powerful leftovers slightly declining volumes but I will not spread because I do not practice clear.
Level distortion and other OD, everything goes wonderfully.
OVERALL OPINION
I for one week, but I try a lot of guitars in this price range and I must say that gibson made strong, yet it came set could not be better.
For a faith that the price is justified in this price range.
I regret nothing, I stood to give an opinion because there was not what I find weird btw, to talk about this exeptionnel scratch my taste after each was free not to be agreed with me, I'm not pro or virtuoso but it gives me satisfaction to all that I play with, and having tried many brands and models of all wholes price I can say that I am happy to have purchased.
This is what it will improve with time or vice versa we'll see.
It was only after a certain anyway that I can tell if I do it again this choice or not, a UP in two or three months for the info.
