I have been using 4 ans.J got a vintage model now.
I like the sound prcis and warm. It's a great snare that does not sound metal. (Not invasive in frquences high, rather medium)
runs well and has power is when the good slap!
It is excelente jazz recess, and trs comporet well on other styles like rock and Funck.
I have stamp parallle trigger and ease of tuning.
It costs 800 euros new ... It's a short but the quality of manufacture (United States) and the sound are that price.
It's high-end Ludwig, who made this choice I think is not.
Right now I play on a vintage 1960 model is the same CHARACTERISTICS with just over
