The same version of Maple for 10 years that I have, it remains a must for tyles very powerful, Funck.
on the other hand, because of its construction, its steel (qd was a wooden version) makes this cash-clearly too powerful to play a more traditional jazz style.
Hence my choice on a Sonor SQ2. But here the comparison ends. For to have played many times on stage, the free float is a great value, and I have had nothing but compliments, even from pro musicians. I would say it in concert it comes into its own. In the studio, it is more delicate, because once the other musicians forthe slows on its power.
One last detail, the tuning is not easy all the same, and must spend time to master the beast.
