Value For Money :
Excellent
I use this snare for 2 years is a very good snare, an incredible sensitivity. Really beautiful harmonies. It's a pretty versatile snare, which would be perfect for jazz, chanson francaise, and even the band / orchestra. It can also be adapted for rock, but more difficult for the funk.
I had before buying a low-end model with the purchase of drumkit pack in gretsch, but there is no comparison between the two snare drums! I tried some if not snare gretsch in pearl or wood, which have a snapping sound much more, but again there is no comparison, given that this is not the same types of snares . It is clear Seulles clear metal I've tried.
This snare has a great value for money. For just 300euros, we have a full, responsive and professional.
I specialize in funk, I intend to part with it to gain a snare gretsch maple, seeking a more banging. If I worked in jazz, in the orchestra or the song choice I would do this without hesitation! A very good snare anyway.
