I own this snare for over ten years and watched it quite well (solid brass).
The mechanism of release of the stamp is very accurate and can be handled with ease.
The sound is powerful, with lots of harmonics, personally I do not use mute and slap rimshot here to hell!
The stamp is difficult to find, available at The Baguetterie (Paris) for € 16.
I do not never part, now a collector's item since the production was made in limited edition.
