Published on 06/03/10 at 14:18I use it for 3 years, I had a simple Yamaha Stage Custom Snare who did his "job" but was in "Mahogany" bouahahahahahaha.
The only thing I hate when skin change, there is a break from Yamaha testicle or the screw and the thread is tied together to tighten, it's pretty boring, but hey, it is done.
I like the sound and projection that snare emerges at ease in all styles (funk, jazz, rock, metal ...), live and in studio, no matter it is comfortable EVERYWHERE !!!!! Listen to prod Weckl, I guarantee you that you have the same sound as it !!!!!!!
The value for money?? is maple and the whole is approved by our great master R. Weckl, it's worth all the gold in the world !!!!!
I would do this choice with your eyes closed, and always with my ears!
