SonicProjects has announced the release of a custom made and ready to play bundle for the SM Pro Audio's V-Machine.
The SonicProjects VM Bundle contains adapted versions of OP-X and Stringer as well as two effect plug-ins and pre-configured ready to play banks in VFX format, according to SP.
The CPU consumption of OP-X and Stringer has supposedly been reduced by 50% to fit the limited power of the V-Machine. Apart from this, the company assures a lot of further optimizations have been made to guarantee optimal performance at lowest latencies.
The included reverb and delay plug-ins were made to be used as send effects. The included banks in VFX format make use of these effects and offer presets covering some of the most famous analog sounds of all times, according to the company.
The banks are also provided in a pre-mapped version with a pre-configured MIDI CC controller mapping that follows the Pro-53 standard. As a bonus there’s also included a BCR2000 toolkit with a custom sysex preset for the Behringer BCR2000 controller that fits the pre-mapped banks.
The bundle is designed to offer easy installation without the need of complicated wizard files and to offer guaranteed performance at the standard buffer setting of 256 samples which has no noticeable latency. Lower settings are possible as well but not really needed, the company says.
Pricing
The VM Bundle costs $149 but is currently available for purchase at the introductory promotion price of $99/€75. Crossgrade deals for existing customers start at $10.
