I use it with a distortion pedal and the volume control set to 2, the output power is excellent!
USE
The clean sound is great, warm, twangy.
The distortion sounds are a bit less good, but usable all the same.
SOUND
It's perfect for rock blues. I think it might be good for metal, but I have never tried it out.
OVERALL OPINION
I've been using it for about a year and count on using it for as long as I can.
For distorted sounds you need a pedal.
I play it with an sg standard and an sg junior, it's very good!
I bought it secondhand for $150, so, considering that, it's a great value for money.
But it's certainly also worth $400!
