Transistor amp 15 watts for electric guitar *
HP 10 "30W max Philipson PLS-15
2 channels (switch button): CLEAN DRIVE 1 Vol 1 and Vol 1 Gain
Common: Eq 3-Cushion - Spring Reverb
Input: Guitar Low and High - Pedal (not provided and not tested)
Output: Headphones - Line Out
Power button.
It's cheap but durable - all female jacks are 6.35 - Wholesale chipboard cab - closed façade AR - good strap and easy to carry thanks to its balance and weight - Pretty Tolex but fragile - small look Vintage cool - the 2 outputs sounds offer good sound quality.
* In the opinion of saxoblues he tested as an acoustic amp (in this case I find it too rough on my electro-acoustic) because it is called "classic" certainly, but it is well to a amlpi Electric "Classic" in the sense Vintage guitar.
UTILIZATION
Simple Config while facade. The two volumes for the 2 channels are side by side, blah! The High channel sounds really more aggressive so you can connect any type of guitars without pb. All pots are progressive unless the gain changes little over 5 Attention equalizer is 0-10 so when you put the bass to 0, they are cut, so it is very important. The bass is pretty medium, pretty high medium and treble are little, finding it limits the dynamic but it is perfect for beginners like me to cover up my mistakes!
SOUNDS
Clean in the sound is good. Drive by there is more of "a" mixer (Dry / Wet) "its clear to a true saturated overdrive. Gain background we are well within the Hard Rock not too rough, and playing with the EQ is sounds cool can come out of different characters. With less gain is more or less dirty sound and you have to play the knobs on the amp and guitar to have the correct grain, not rough or hollow.
The big plus of this amp cheap, is the spring reverb! This vintage feel is excellent and warms your sound 0-10, cool atmosphere and retro sure!
Although I tried very few high volume, I think the HP is up and you can play with a drummer tranqille or make a set in a bar eg. But do not dream, for that price, and often this size, exit the bass and treble that pierce ears. The Eq helping the best he can, all that remains relatively wise in this little box.
OVERALL OPINION
This amp is made for the beginner or work at home or why not repeat in a small group wise! The correct sound is fairly neutral, but a little cold so the pedals will be welcome to give it the momentum and enjoy its sublime reverb for my taste. In the end it has an excellent quality / price if you find a report ... We're not afraid of the broken and is not cheap like most entries today often zero range with their sounds and their modulations risky.
I bought it for my niece tried so very quickly. To console me for her loss, I will try out a VOX Pathfinder 15R ...
