« Marshall G10MKII »
Published on 03/31/03 at 14:00Picture this: I was a young lad who wanted to play guitar. For doing well at school and other stuff my parents got me a guitar. This guitar (which was a squire strat) came with the G10MKII amp. I paid nothing for this amp but i think it costs about £50-£70 (anything more than this and it's not worth it)
The amp is light(always good), its a legendary MARSHALL and its nice and easy to use with just 3 nobs (Gain ,treble and volume).
It dosn't have much punch (but what 10watt amps does) and can't handle gigs. The choices of sound are limited and it does buzz a bit.
It deffently has marshall quility and is worth the money in this aspect. It has an open back and is quite small. The power lead is far to short but most practice amps are like this so its no biggy! Its never had any problems and nothing has fallen off or broke
This amp is great for someone who is starting the guitar or someone who just wants a practice amp. It looks good (for an amp), plays well enough and has never failed me. All my mates amps are rubbish compared to this so go for this you cant go wrong.
