If in the UVI Urban Suite you’re only interested in the Scratch Machine, you can now purchase it separately with an updated sound library.
Scratch Machine features 4200 phrases that cover the classic scratching techniques (vocal phrases, break beats, Speak n’ Spell…) and you can use them in the UVI workstation or drag and drop them to the DAW of you choice.
The GUI offers independent adjustments for pitch and speed, a 3-band EQ, a resonant filter and 6 effects: two delays, a phaser, a bit crusher, a reverb and a repeater. All the effect control bypasses are mapped to you MIDI keyboard.
Pricing: $39
Scratch Machine requires an iLok account, you can authorize it on up to three computers or iLok dongles. More info at www.uvi.net.
