I love the feel of the neck, and how the guitar fits in my lap. It's a quitar you can have a love affair with. I play jazz and blues, and I have been playing for over 40 years.
A guitar repairman told me that the stock electronics were substandard. The guitar was a basket case when I got it, and I had to change out the electronics any way. I put one EMG in the neck position to get that clasic Strat sound, and thats all I need.
I looks like a 59 Plymouth.
The attention to detail and the overall quality of the guitar is far above average. I have owned numerous guitars: an ES 175, Gibson Les Pauls, a 00018 Martin, Fender Strats and it holds its own with any of them.
Much better than any Korean made guitar I have played. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice strat type guitar. I like it much better than the 70's Japaneese Fender Strat I owned. Guitars are about playability and sound not flash. This guitar isn't just for metal heads! A wise purchase, go for it.
