I bought the guitar second hand, It was made in 1991 and I own it since two years. I have paid 900 EUR, ($ 800) for the guitar, with tolex box included.

The guitar has a great range op sounds and possibilities. From an amazing humbucker sound to an extreme pure and typical fender sound. The lace-sensors are very clean, less noise. But when you use tube-amps, it is really funny. the '58 steel feels pretty well, It tunes very easy and accurate. The guitar plays very easy, it feels you can play twice as quick.

Frequent use of the tremolo makes frequent tuning necessary.
I think the neck is difficult for persons with small hands.

My guitar has a "surfin' green" colour, rosewood fingerboard, and the humbuckersized bridge pickup. It has an additional knob for changing the sound of that pickup : singlecoil or humbucker.
since 2001 a newer version ap the Jeff Beck is available, the neck seems better for smaller hands. The pickups have changed.

It is an exceptional guitar, a very complete instrument with , I think, almost all sound possibilities in one instrument... and well done.
It is not cheap, but buying a gibson Lp and a fender american standard costs more and is more difficult when performing.
