« Fender So-Cal »
Published on 12/04/05 at 15:00I have been playing just over a year and play both Electric and Acoustic style guitars.
I purchased the Fender So-Cal at a local guitar shop from a picture in the Fender 2005 Frontline Magazine they published show casing their product line. It cost about $800 CDN.
I like everything about it, the looks, how it plays, the attention it gets and the overall simplicity of it. As the name says, straight forward Hot Rod.
There is nothing I do not like about this guitar. It is exactly what it should be, a fast playing cool looking guitar with straight forward controls.
I find the fit, finish and build quality excellent.
Don't drive as SUV like an F1 race car. If you want a straight shooting rock and roll guitar without with excellent looks and handling, than this is the one for you.
