Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar in existence. It's been use by pretty much every guitarist on the planet if you never use one then I highly suggest picking one up. The body shape balance and feel is almost perfect in this instrument. It has the right frequency range and perfect blend of musical authority that makes playing such a joy. This is that my absolute favorite in guitar to play even with single coil pick ups. I tend to lean towards humbucker pick up so actually of super stratocaster would be my go to ask.

SOUNDS
This one of the only mahogany based Fender guitar that you will see. It has a unique look with the Tele style pick guard and the overall tone will be warmer and thick. The tone of the Fender Stratocaster is fantastic. There's not another guitar it in the world that sounds like a Strat on the neck pick up. It's a nice soulful, bluesy tone that has a vintage characteristic even if it's a newer made guitar. When you couple these guitars with pretty much any amplifier, effects, or rack modulation you get a get a solid foundation for tone. The guitar just scream soul and not many guitars are able to do that in today's world. The Gibson Les Paul the Fender telecaster and this instrument are the only three main guitars that I feel really connected with one playing. This guitar sort of encompasses them all with the woods used and cosmetics.
OVERALL OPINION
These guitars are harder to find than a normal Fender Strat They're very versatile instruments and they come in right around $1000 or so depending on the model and features. I highly recommend this guitar to any guitarists looking for a great solid versatile instrument that is a mix between a Strta, Tele, and Les Paul.
