Bon ben characteristics ::::: What is a Start; refer to the manufacturer records
UTILIZATION
Very pleasant to use. it was 4-5 years that I played on Les Paul Studio. The transition has not been too bad. The handle is very nice, it adapts very quickly. It is not very light, but more than a Les Paul.
It does not go out of tune, even though using the vibrato. I am very pleasantly surprised.
It is a coherent whole that works.
SOUNDS
I played on a Fender Champ 25 (preamp, tube, beginning 90).
Well then I think I am working to be setting the equalizer because his fate too much midrange and treble for my taste. Especially with the bridge pickup is a disaster, that spin ears!
Well I must say that I would not change my amp settings and it is those for Gibson, so I think it should be normal.
For cons, I have a Tonelab on which I play all the time and there is top right. Happiness. I expected to have sound a little more "flutes" with the neck pickup, then a bit more "character" but what it will. Positions 2 & 4 are fine for the funky style. And with different distos, crunches, saturations offered on the Tonelab, it manages to have a great sound even with the bridge pickup!?
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 3 weeks, so I not a huge setback. That said I am very happy, that was a while since I wanted to pay me a Start '(I had owned a Start + there 20 years ago and I had exchanged a cons because I Lag 'were a truffle and the strat + was still the high end of the day). Today I am still a bit of a truffle, but still less.
So here today I have a Start 'which is fine. The color is great, that's exactly what I was looking (blue shit), I'd seen one like that for the Band Aid '84, I think it was the guitarist for Bowie, who had this stratum ', but ... passque not too sure it's been a long time anyway.
Used around 400-500th, it does it well.
Frankly I do not know if it's worth it to have one U.S. because it works great, she is very well finished and the color is to die for (when you see the colors offered nazes Fender for U.S. standards, we request ...). It's true that the benchmarks in the key plastoc are a little cheap, but I do not want a guitar to show off and they go well in the general shape of the guitar. I was a little skeptical because I tried a Mexican Fender bass, I was somewhat disappointed by the sound. Here I did not try before you buy and I must say I am very positively surprised.
In any case purchase super-stoked.
