First, the origin ... the guitar was "crafted in japan" is written on it. so if it comes to Korea I do not know ..? Perhaps the assembly? but beware there are many of the same model Aerodyne: that you see on the picture (mine but in black), that you see on the picture of Fender Aerodyne Stratocaster, just over the list of Fender Stratocaster (the same without pickgard, and the input jack on the side of the body), and another version comes with Seymour Duncan pickups!
So, mine is a fender japan stratocaster Aerodyne ast-65 I made imported from Japan:
. Basswood body with binding
. Bolt maple / rosewood fingerboard 22 frets profile 'Modern C'
. 3 micros simple Standart Fender
. 1 volume / 2 tone / 5-way switch
. Fender Vintage Style Synchronized Tremolo
. Fender Vintage mechanical
. Chrome hardware
-I chose to finish the gun metal blue, dark blue metallic how ... very nice especially that ela head attached.
Small-finish defects to the head: the varnish a little break at the nut.
UTILIZATION
-The handle is very nice! me who does not like jumbo frets, I'm happy with the vintage (jai small doitgs ...). it moves very easily on the handle without slipping on the polished floor. access to acute is good.
-The characteristic of this stratum is the curved shape of the body. Indeed, side view of the guitar will look thinner. I find this form very attractive and comfortable, ca does not alter the weight of the guitar that I find nitro pni too light.
His ca-level changes a lot of the guitar trainer for sale that I used before! precision in the treble, a real warm sound in the neck! but being accustomed to the humbuckers, I had a little trouble at first to me to background noise microphones simple. and yes this point I think it may be appropriate to change the pickups for noiseless, for Jeff Beck, or otherwise for single or double format as you want!
SOUNDS
-I have not really pre-defined style, but at least for the Blues this scratching will do. as I said it would review the setup microphone to expand the palette.
"I tried a Fender Stratocaster The Twin" Red Knob ", a 100W all-tube, it's just great! I also tried several effects (metalzone, crybaby), everything passes cream!
I confess jOperation very little micro middle ... very little and also two intermediate positions.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had a year, I use very few (2 to 3 times a month) on the one hand because the tube amp is not mine and therefore is not home. I have a small home 15w with reverb that can ... and above that right now my mission to work on bass for the group.
We will say that it is winning the Aesthetics, and microphones standarts that are less than welcome (or a version with seymour duncan exists)
-Jai not try this guitar before buying it, simply because we see it in stores too. and I'm addicted to fender japan, I love their guitars because they stand out!
-At the price I have seen that prices in France are around 800-900 euros. I confess that I would not have bought for that price. in Japan it is sold for half that price. but by making you pay to import a whole bunch of stuff (shipping, customs, taxes ...) so that I had to pay around 600euros and I regret it.
In retrospect, I admit that I do it again not quite the same choice, I will take the version with Seymour Duncan pickups! (The same color of course)
