This is a my first electric axe! Great choice as its the one i beat the f*@k out most of my days. Long and McQaude for $595.

The colour is blue agave which is new for 2002. its made in mexico but its one qaulity axe! In my opinion it beats the epiphone les paul and it much more versitile. Great first axe to pound on. Neck action is fast and its a quailty neck as well.

the pickup more then ephihpone but thats to be expected due to the fact that single coils arent grounded as well as humbuckers, though i had my choice i would change the humbucker to a "noiseless" single coil or a seymour duncan alcino coil.

Great qaulity for the price. the body is made of poplar which is the original body of the fender axes i think. This is pretty much the original quitar 50 years ago. I will not however be like those who dont know what they are talking about and say that its better then the american strats but everyone always wants to say they have the best stuff soooo. Perfect axe for the price. Yamaha also does close to a good job at $300 with thier pacific line....i think its pacific...

fender is a great price for entry level quitar that can last a life time, plus with a little tweaking the axe can be a a-1 performer...starting from the coils up. Dont get a squire. The standard is as far beyond a squire as american is beyond the standard!
