«  My first electric shovel, not top »

Published on 05/07/14 at 05:16
Imitation Strat, made in Japan. Style Fender 70's, so big head.
For the rest, in all respects a Start.
Maple neck for mine.

UTILIZATION

Ergonomics of a Strat
The violin has healthy air. Given the above varnish there was impossible to see if the wood is quality or not (like most Strat so)

SOUNDS

Rather unconvincing certainly sounds not related to an electronic on top. The pickups were enough weaklings at first it was not settled with time.
The sounds are drinking, just.

OVERALL OPINION

I really used for ten years when I started the electric guitar. I bought it in Paris Pigalle (in Dadi's Music House think I even remember) in 1979 to about 2000 USD at the time, my pocket money was spent in full.
The low quality of sounds and my low level (even then), and the fact that working life and family life had taken over have him attend the top of a wardrobe for years before I the pops from the case in favor of a move. Then playing better and mastering more this type of guitar, I expected to be pleasantly surprised by the old Ibanez.
Well, no, still some juice this guitar. It takes ten seconds no comparison with my Fender Strat U.S. Std. I therefore put away again until I borrowed my brother definitely for home. She lives happily with her now, as its sole electric guitar.
It's vintage, but vintage is not so golden. It certainly benefit from getting a makeover next pickups and electronics but why, when you already have good shovels? In addition, I'm sure there are fans of this type of skyscraper in its juices, freaks MIJ 70's (it should still have the same small ashtray). Provided my frerot do not throw in the trash, then. ;-)
