Published on 01/11/04 at 15:00I bought this guitar at my local music store that normally doesnt stock Ibanez. This guitar was a very new trade-in. It cost me $700AU but brand new i think they're about $1400 AU
I love everything about this guitar except for the stock pickups. Good, deep sound , not much sustain or harmonics. The floyd rose is great. its pretty light and is real thin and comfortable to play. it has a very low heel on its bolt-on neck.
I bought the one with the blue chipstone finish and it looks ablolutely awesome. it has the wizard 2 neck that is real thin and real flat, so if your into les pauls, dont get this instrument.
the pickups, the tiny strap buttons.
construction is great, built like a brick, weighs like nerf.
its a great guitar. If you duwntune to drop D a lot but still want to use the trem bar, just dont tighten the locking nut that locks the E and A.
