SOUNDS

First of all, this guitar is a gem in terms of versatility, largely due to the exceptional sound palette that allow different combinations of microphones. the sound is rich, well balanced in all keys, the humbucker is a killer, both in distortion (of a sound fat enough, it evokes a microphone SG) in the clear; microphones simple, clear as saturated in the sound more reminiscent Start, although, of course, they are less typical and more are fishing in its saturated. Any combination of microphones have their interest, and, hence, the scratch will find versatile certainly their account, this skyscraper is to his advantage in many styles (rock, pop, hard or metal, and, for spent over 2 hours to imroviser, blues !..). OVERALL OPINION

Note that I do not have this skyscraper is one of my cousin that I had the opportunity to try a whole afternoon. In any case, for the price, if you hesitate between a Mexican Start, an Epiphone and the shovel, go ahead, the ibanez largment arrives in mind and in every respect! In conclusion, I would say that it combines the look and the ingenuity of the PRS in terms of use, and its sonic palette allows a combination that seemed to me unrealistic and unlikely so far, namely that of an SG and a strat. For the undecided between these two models, Ibanez makes a great alternative is the only major flaws, as I recall, this unpleasant breath amplifying the attack of the pick when playing solo and poor mechanical properties.
