I bought this guitar from Dave Phillips Music and Sound, a nearby, well-known guitar shop around where I live. I was looking for a great guitar as I became a much better guitarist to fill my needs of playing some heavy metal and metal-core, mainly Metallica, Killswitch Engage, and In Flames. I paid about 350 for the guitar.

I love the heavy sound you can create with the guitar, with the right amp that is. The Peavey Bandit 112 works great with this guitar, but Line 6's work better. The intonation is perfect, I like the 24 frets on the guitar, and the pickups are unbelievable, EMG's. The Floyd Rose is pretty good too because you stay in close to perfect tuning the whole time.

The band I am in plays in B tuning, which meant I had to pay about $50 to adjust the setup and add some springs to the Floyd Rose. The only thing I don't like about the guitar itself is how I have to either wrench out the neck to change the tuning or unscrew the saddle to do it. Other than that, I love the guitar.

The quality is awesome and the sustain is near perfect. It's a metallic black, shiny looking guitar, but pretty plain. It's a fairly heavy guitar but when you're up on stage playing this guitar in front of a crowd it all goes away. The action on the neck is perfect.

I would rate it a 4.5. It's not perfect but it's better than a 4. If you like playing heavy riffs with great intonation and action on the neck, then this is the guitar to buy. It can't be said any better, if you need a heavy guitar for a fairly good price, this is the one to get.
