« Not so far from an ESP ... »
Published on 02/27/12 at 01:39Guitar made in Korea, like any LTD
Mahogany body with flamed maple table, neck-through maple with rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, tune 25.5 ".
EMG 81 in bridge and 85 neck, one volume, one tone and one international.
TOM bridge with strings through the body.
UTILIZATION
Exactly the same shape as my ESP Horizon NT-II, except that the LTD is lighter, probably due to the wood species of different quality.
Handle very nice (at the same time I'm used to that of the ESP)
A new cut in the body allows access to acute easier (I rarely go down over there lol)
Its level, there are no big differences with the ESP, can be more presence and fullness with ESP.
SOUNDS
Clearly typed metal, but any opportunity to play with.
Its level, it's clean, a big thanks to EMG's metal and wood characteristics, a pure delight.
I use it with a stack OUR Custom Amp and a Lexicon MPX G2 is accurate, despite the huge palmut granted drop 13-72 G, it would very well agree (I almost never grants) and sounds of thunder.
OVERALL OPINION
I recently but for this price range and this guitar is worth.
I had a lot of scratches and tried a lot too (Ibanez, Epi, ESP, LTD, BC Rich, Music Man, Gibson, Fender ...) and much like this one the road against the other and his older sister ESP
I love this guitar because it reminds me of my Horizon (with which I play most often).
The finish is not left to the Made In Korea, some flaws of course but nothing nasty.
I have no hesitation redeem
