I ordered it in decibel music for 765 euros. I just received. One word: GORGEOUS! The most beautiful guitar I had been, yet I have a gibson les paul standard, a fender american standard sunburst 2012 and esp viper 2006.
Made in Indonesia. One can have doubts? I inspected the guitar all angles played six hours straight with: no problem finishing the hoop are perfect, nothing to envy to the gibson 2200 euros. I would say it is better finished. The fender next pales even the Esp is beautiful month.
The worst is that it's not fake!
- First handle through 24 frets 3 part (requires strength), the handle is well flamed maple! Crazy for a guitar to 800 euros.
- The table is maple wavy (2 cm thick), this is maple AAAA. compared to the standard table in my gibson is cheap, it is not nearly as nice!
- Flamed maple veneer ilk on the headstock ...
- The body is mahogany with beautiful rib, nothing to do with a Charvel Desolation DS1 Nato that does not ring! (I sold)
- Mechanical grover are therefore obliged to triad itself mounted in 11/52.
- The volume buttons and tone are steel (compared to plastoc gibson and fender)
- The strings through the body for better sustain.
- Finally, the best finish by an EMG 85 in the neck I prefer the 60 and the famous EMG 81 in the bridge.
Nothing to say this guitar is a value that really got the Gibson and Fender, besides finishing the report ltd is much better!
I was very disappointed by my Charvel Desolation but it was not the same price (449 euros Charvel) so I was hesitant to take me a guitar manufactured in Asia.
The big difference (information taken) Ltd. is that are controlled and finished in the USA so any questionable guitar is rejected.
Level finish I would say they have so put the package in wood quality (thanks to cheap labor) that the esp viper seems to resonate less empty ...
10/10 for a guitar like because it is really perfect!
UTILIZATION
The handle is exactly the same as my esp Viper thin but not flat it can play fast as well as spend very technical plans. Jumbo frets give the XJ a perfect intonation. The guitar is much higher in the neck that offers Fender and Gibson.
Ergonomics, I chose the strat shape because we have not done better! Ergonomics is very good compared to the esp viper QUIC slumps and especially Gibson. The guitar is heavy just right, it was not a squier Agathis hands so it is not a featherweight. But it is heavier than the Gibson month.
Sounds: The top!
SOUNDS
Many critics emg the people saying they are cold: this is completly wrong, the emg transcribe vibration wood guitar. If you have a guitar where alder basswood Jackcson as soloist, they will sound cold but with mahogany and maple table they sound as warm as my Gibson pickups. Moreover Knofler Mark and David Gilmour played with EMG!
The neck pickups Emg 85 is a good choice, it is warmer than the 60 and is very solid, very round.
In clean can play the quiet blues, it goes smoothly it is even better than the Gibson because less brouillions. I play a lot of Jazz and it goes very well also saw the extent of his.
Saturated can be huge rhythm without losing accuracy. This is even better than my ESP Viper-bodied (body thickness?). The gibson is completly beaten.
The intermediate position is perfect for arpeggios with a little chorus is air, velvety. With pointed bottom, you can play funk with no worries.
Move to pickup: the emg 81 is tough bugger rarely seen a pickup sound so thick! It's simple the Gibson bridge could pass for a Telecaster pickups so its seems thin.
With a big muff we get a sound singing to Santana, this is perfect sustain is to go.
The best is of course with a metal zone distortion thoroughly we fate of harmonic follies sounds woke the dead, I love. Pure Slaughter!
I saved the best for last. This guitar has sustain madness (mmanche through and mahogany) that outperforms my Gibson Les Paul and my Esp Viper. I'm not talking about the strat, you do not play a Fender for sustain.
OVERALL OPINION
I have owned lots of Ibanez js 1000 (blah), godin, Charvel (pathetic), Jackson usa (too wide sleeve), Gibson Les paul (not bad but not worth its 2200 euros), fender strat usa (super ) and Esp Viper. This guitar is the most beautiful of all! The finish leaves Gibson knees, sustain is the longest I've ever met. It is much more versatile than the Viper. Of course it is perfect for metal but it is a weapon for rockk and blues (or she smashes smoothly Gibson). For 765 euros I'm really on my ass! Looks like a Guitar Luthier: Magnifique!
