Published on 11/04/03 at 15:00I bought this guitar at Daddy's Junky Music because I really wanted to learn guitar after jamming with my friend. I paid $280 for the whole package.
I like the fact that it is a solidly built insturment.
I hate that it only has single coil pickups. I pulled the input jack out of the jack plate trying to unplug the cable. (Warranty will cover this if it happens to yours.) I hated the picks and strings that came with the pack and the fact that is had a book instead of a video to learn from.
It is very good qualoty but the wood used to make this sounds really cheap and dull.
It is an ok guitar for beginners, unless you want to start learning heavy metal riffs, because the single coil pickups don't have the growl or the balls of humbucking pickups.
