Start 'japanese squier, red (a bit flashy, but ...), 80's requires a Fender floating tremolo, rosewood fingerboard ... Special mention to vibrato seen anywhere that allows strings through the body and have the benefits of Floyd. Too bad Fender did not continue their production ... The rest is a Start '!

UTILIZATION

Excellent race, very fast, very enjoyable. Rosewood is may be of lesser quality than some US but quite reasonable. The weight is reasonable. Level finishing, wood quality, etc. ... is as usual 'is better than the Mexican fender without hesitation ... To say it's better than a US should not abuse either. In fact, squier fender and Japan, it's really the same quality construction and finishes the same, to believe that they just change the logo ...

SOUNDS

I play mostly rock with this guitar. It is equipped with Lace Sensor, enabling it to manage a variety of effects and have a "big sound". It sounds great, even if the original pickups were not terrible ... But I do not really like the pickups that Fender puts on most of its strata '. (Lack of consistency, definition ...)
The sound is there, it's a good guitar that faithfully reproduces what is expected of a stratocaster.

OVERALL OPINION

The big advantage of this guitar is its unbeatable value for money. A very good guitar for the custom becaufe the violin and finish are quality.

Be careful because I have previously owned a Squier Japan in 1993 and it was not the same thing ... If you cross the road to a JV, please, it is a sacrilege not to buy it. The series E (mine so) are of great guitars.

For other squier ... I'm not so convinced, it depends on the price of the model ...
