«  A good guitar extra »

South Korean manufacturing preppy. The set neck is a plus! This one is rather broad but enjoyable.
The guitars are also designed in France (Lille specifically, so it's always good to support the regional business).
What prompted me to buy is obviously key in Ebony: at that price it does not spit.
There are 24 Jumbo Frets kind so no big restriction at this level is the current trend.
The pickups are in HH Configuration indeed I was looking specifically to get rid of the famous MSM model because I never used my microphone simple medium. In this respect there are three control knobs: one for the volume of each pickup and a tone control.

UTILIZATION

The handle is nice but beware of those like me who was accustomed to handle such fine Ibanez you'll really feel like you're with a battle-ax in his hands. Personally it bothers me more than it unduly. Acute are easy to access the guitar, although the body is mahogany is light. The lifts are very good qualities.

SOUNDS

It is perhaps a little low bridge this guitar mainly due to my final advice to microphones that lacks punch. Of course I compare with my Ibanez S570 € 500 so roughly in the same price range. To be more precise we will say that the sound sounds more hollow than an Ibanez. Everything will depend on your amp: I personally played on a Fender Frontmann 65R modified with HP Integrated Marshall.
D'Addario strings rendered background are not the freshest sounds very metallic and yet I am one fan of Addario maybe this problem sound just part of it. To see so much changing the strings that I have not done yet.
In terms of style it is quite clear that in dealing with a typical guitar rock so heavy metal see the evidence ebony and mahogany body that gives more sustain.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it in April 2013. I already had a Squier Showmaster NLT 200 € and 500 € Ibanez S570B. The first being a guitar input range not always on top for group play and Ibanez very nice but not always practical when it comes to adjust the vibrato / Change ropes and other Japanese things like that.
So I was looking for a new power-up that is more functional to play my small occasions quietly in my attic guitar.
We must say what attracted me most is the look: Beyond the fact that it is a SuperStrato the PRS guitar side is really appreciable. But it is especially THE ebony at that price (459 €) that convinced me, plus the fact that the Korean manufacture is therefore a priori better than the made in china and the guitars is initially designated My Hometown in France to Lille.

So no regrets it's still a very good guitar worth its 4/5! I use it as an additional guitar but you can also use it as a main guitar. In addition, if you are a active musicians can apply for endorsement to SR Guitars to be "sponsored" by the brand under certain artistic conditions.

If you have any further questions do not hesitate to send me a PM. I will eventually test a video for those who would be interested.
