Mahogany body, maple neck satin table flamm microphones ble: SSV (neck), ML, SSH + (bridge)
Amp = Victory "the Duke" 100W.
Basically, this is the stuff of Guthrie Govan. Finally, so-called ...
(NB: Amp = Victory "the Duke" 100W.
Designed for clear sound Fender and Marshall OD. Except that it has none of 2. The sound is clear and a little hyper right dish. (Just in the same style, I had largely prfr the Orange Rockerverb).
The channel distortion is nice but is a bit the same effect.
It made me a little gach the test)
For the guitar in itself, the violin is pretty. It made me think a spcial vigier I'd test but with less over. Finally, it is the impression I got; I could be wrong.
PRICE: 3000 E
USE
The handle is pleasant but there are clearly better elsewhere. And it is not just satin varnish !! So if you sweat like a pig, it becomes black-greenish speed of light.
The access to acute is good. It is comfortable.
The right hand comfort amliorable. In rhythm, that's cool but ds that goes solo, you feel a little tense at the wrist.
The guitar is well pluttlgre wife's body.
The knobs look good order. Just slecteur 5 positions sembl me a little cheap.
SONORITS
For pickups, the SSV is nice, rather versatile without being phew. A good microphone.
The ML me sembl very good!
SSH + me seems rather modern DETAILEDREPORT, with many mdium and a fairly tight grain. Not madness, what. It must surely much better spend on basswood guitars.
- In jazz, makes a not too bad. However, it is understood that it is not for DETAILEDREPORT. I prefer my PRS very much in that style (even if nothing will ever replace archtop).
- On Funk, I found it really made good.
- On the rock, did the job. Mahogany feels but without imposing. It's not a les paul, what. Something tells me that the maple tables in mahogany make the sound more prcis but less typ. Sr not to love as has the famous tables.
- On Metal / rock satrianesque ect ... has sent good. It looks as done for
NOTICE GLOBAL
With this guitar, I had the feeling to test a Vigier but with more character. The sound is also very right but typ deeper. It sounds l o Vigier is flat.
When I shared this reflection to the seller, he told me that Vigier are flat because they use wood franais / Europeans too lgers while Suhr uses wood Americans much denser.
Information to the conditional because I have heard many times that the lime is franais trsrput.
The fact is that after having compar 2, I would rather tend to concur the opinion of the seller (not Vigier sells in his shop, a small matter Dtail) .dropoff window
In short, for a budget of 3000 E, I prefer to take me a custom Suhr Vigier Excalibur modern rather than a spcial. There's no picture.
ML microphones me intressants sembl. Leaves to take a Suhr, so take a config HSS with ML handle and center.
But it's got a story.
