Solid Spruce body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard
mechanical precision chrome oil bath
Standard jack, EQ: 2 tone and volume
22 boxes, markers on the fretboard, playing electric cord mounted
UTILIZATION
The handle is a handle end, but rather flat on top, it's not very pleasant to play for such long bar, the string height is correct, the neck, well it's wood glue, certainly as body of the guitar, if access is reasonably sharp, do not forget that this is a form stratocaster, and is really light.
SOUNDS
I buy this shovel as the first electric guitar, I played on a classic Harley Jim ten 10 watt and I found she had a good crunch, as it passed as clean on the other hand, when I wanted make it saturated there was the cat, even with amp settings I could not make the sound "punk rock" I was looking for, no details, no personalitée, it was a bit disappointing. It was going very well for old tube from sweat home Alabama to New York with you passing by as few blues, this guitar is in my opinion not for the large distortion, it is fairly limited but is perfect for to hand, the settings are pretty simple. micro acute are quite aggressive. not always ideal, usually I play on the switch in position 2 and I rectify with the tone knob to find the sound I want.
OVERALL OPINION
I have this guitar for 5 years, the mechanics are correct, I get there soon was a professional to do a little review: tightening of mechanical vibrato setting, adjusting the string height, and thorough cleaning of bridge springs. The violin is well made, and finishes are correct, although the polish yours, only worry is that it tends to ring true in the bass, I think a good game of rope would do. but for that price, do not expect a fender!
With experience, I would not make this choice, it was a guitar for me by hand, by the way I eventually buy an entry-level epiphone (les paul), I will soon sell this small Strat 'likely to buy a telecaster.
