I found this Guitar on Ebay and I won the guitar with my bid of $96 and $26 to ship it.

The neck is decent quality Maple and the fingerboard is good quality Rosewood. The frets are nicely installed with no buzzing anywhere along the 24 frets on any string.
The body is comfortable and the Pickups are clear and hot. The surprise is that the single coil pickups are as loud as the humbucker so it is the same volume as you select the different pickup combinations. The tone control works well from bright to a dark jazz sound. The finish is well applied and polished nicely. It is easy to play and it sounds really good clean and distorted. For a Guitar you can get under $200 it is the best I found. I plugged a Mexican Fender Strat into the same amp I use and the Washburn sounded way better and played better, more comfortable

The metal posts that support the flushtrem bridge are really poorly plated. I attempted to lower them for a lower action and the Chrome Chipped off instantly. Open the Control knob access panel and you see some really cheap Pots. The truss rod adjustment nut is really cheap and poor quality, It is nearly impossible to adjust the neck and not scrape the edge of the fingerboard above it as well as nick up the finish on both sides of the access hole behind the neck pickup. The control cavity is not shielded so it can be noisy in certain positions as it picks up interference in the room from amps and electrical wiring.

It seems to be well constructed, other than the truss rod nut and the poor quality tremolo mounting studs. They say the body is maple but what kind? I pressed my thumbnail into the wood in the control cavity and the wood is softer than any maple I know of, but still better in my opinion than basswood.

Buy this guitar instead of any other strat style and use it til you can get guitar that costs over $600 so you can have better quality parts and truss rod. When I play it I hear how great the sound is and how cool it looks.
